Chef Jon came to America as a first-generation immigrant student. His love for cooking led him to open a vibrant, much-loved restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek. From 2009 to 2015, it became the go-to spot for anyone craving bold, unique flavors. Life threw him a curveball when he was unexpectedly called back to his beginnings outside the culinary world. Although life took an unexpected turn, Jonathan refused to let his passion fade. Instead, he got creative, pouring his energy into crafting a signature sauce that captures the magic of his childhood and flavors of Southeast Asia with a twist.
