Spicy Garlic Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 1 Yellow onion

  • 2 Sliced fresno chili peppers

  • 1 Cup of green onions

  • 3 Tablespoons of garlic

  • 1/2 Cup of Chef Jon Lee sauce

  • 1 Box of spaghetti noodles

  • 3 Tablespoons sesame oil (or your preference)


Instructions:

  1. Boil the boxed spaghetti noodles until just before al dente, about 6–8 minutes.

  2. Add 3 tablespoons of oil to a pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Once the pan and oil are hot, add the aromatics, starting with the diced yellow onion.

  4. Then add the sliced Fresno chili peppers. Toss or stir together until translucent, about 3–5 minutes.

  5. After cooking for a few minutes, add the green onions and garlic. Stir and cook everything together for another few minutes.

  6. Pour in 1/2 cup of Chef Jon Lee sauce (shake well before adding). Let it simmer for 3–5 minutes.

  7. Stir the sauce, and once it starts to thicken, add the spaghetti noodles to the pan. Toss to coat evenly, letting the heat of the pan finish cooking the noodles through. Be careful not to overcook—about 1–3 minutes.

  8. Add salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with green onions. Optionally, drizzle a little sesame oil on top.
